Si es que vuelve todo lo antiguo...

Il pericolo numero uno...

La donna affascinante
ti colpisce al primo istante
la donna che ti piace
ti fa perdere la pace
amico ricordalo ancora
per chi si innamora
più scampo non c'è
attento a te...
attento a te...

Il pericolo numero uno
la donna
l'incantesimo numero uno
la donna
chi viene vinto
da quell'incanto
sospira mentre soffre tanto
che ci vuoi far
siamo nati per amar.
E perciò tutti gli uomini innamorati
fortunati o sfortunati
non si stancano di cantar.

Il pericolo numero uno
la donna
l'incantesimo numero uno,
due, tre, quattro, cinque, sei e sette
chi è?
la donna
la donna.

Le donne nella vita
son la cosa più gradita
eppure un po' spinose
sempre sono come rose,
purtroppo qualcuna sorride
si scusa ti dice
amarti non so
non posso no
no, proprio no.

Il pericolo numero uno
la donna
l'incantesimo numero uno
la donna
chi viene vinto
da quell'incanto
sospira mentre soffre tanto
che ci vuoi far
siamo nati per amar.
E perciò tutti gli uomini innamorati
fortunati o sfortunati
non si stancano di cantar.

Il pericolo numero uno
la donna
l'incantesimo numero uno,
due, tre, quattro, cinque, sei e sette
chi è?
La donna
la donna.

Il gusto del pericolo
l'amor che brucia l'anima
la gioia che fa vivere
diciamolo chi è
chi è?
La donna
la donna.

She always a woman (Billy Joel, 1977)

She can kill with a smile, she can wound with her eyes,
She can ruin your faith with her casual lies,
And she only reveals what she wants you to see.
She hides like a child but she's always a woman to me.
She can lead you to love, she can take you or leave you,
She can ask for the truth but she'll never believe you,
And she'll take what you give her as long as it's free,
Yeah she steals like a thief but she's always a woman to me.
Oh, she takes care of herself, she can wait if she wants,
She's ahead of her time.
Oh, and she never gives out and she never gives in,
She just changes her mind.
And she'll promise you more than the garden of Eden
Then she'll carelessly cut you and laugh while you're bleeding,
But she brings out the best and the worst you can be.
Blame it all on yourself cause she's always a woman to me.
Oh, she takes care of herself, she can wait if she wants,
She's ahead of her time.
Oh, and she never gives out and she never gives in,
She just changes her mind.
She is frequently kind and she's suddenly cruel,
She can do as she pleases, she's nobody's fool,
But she can't be convicted, she's earned her degree,
And the most she will do is throw shadows at you
But she's always a woman to me.

See the stone set in your eyes
See the thorn twist in your side
I wait for you

Sleight of hand and twist of fate
On a bed of nails she makes me wait
And I wait without you

With or without you
With or without you

Through the storm we reach the shore
You give it all but I want more
And Im waiting for you

With or without you
With or without you
I cant live
With or without you

And you give yourself away
And you give yourself away
And you give
And you give
And you give yourself away

My hands are tied
My body bruised, shes got me with
Nothing to win and
Nothing left to lose

And you give yourself away
And you give yourself away
And you give
And you give
And you give yourself away

With or without you
With or without you
I cant live
With or without you

With or without you
With or without you
I cant live
With or without you
With or without you

Nothing left to loose (1980)

¡Ahhhh!, ¡¡Aquellos 70 y 80!! The turn of a friendly card.

Nothing's good the news is bad
The heat goes on and it drives you mad
Scornful thoughts that fly your way
You should turn away cause there's nothing more to say

You gave the best you had to give
You only had one life to live
You fought so hard you were a slave
After all you gave there was nothing left to save

You've got nothing left to lose (you've got nothing left to lose)
No you've got nothing left to lose (who'd wanna be standing in your shoes)

You read the book you turn the page
You change your life in a thousand ways
The dawn of reason lights your eyes
With the key you realise
To the kingdom of the wise

You've got nothing left to lose (you've got nothing left to lose)
No you've got nothing left to lose (who'd wanna be standing in your shoes)

Nothing ventured nothing gained
No more lingering doubt remained
Nothing sacred or profane
Everything to gain
Cause you've nothing left

l'alma dell'alma mia,
dell'alma mia,
Il core del mio cor,
pien di contento,
pien di contento.
Vedrò con mio diletto
l'alma dell'alma mia,
dell'alma mia,
Il cor di questo cor
pien di contento,
pien di contento.
E se dal caro oggetto
lungi convien che sia,
convien che sia,
Sospirerò penando ogni momento.

Cara sposa (Rinaldo, G.F. Haendel)

Cara sposa, amante cara,
Dove sei?
Deh! Ritorna a' pianti miei!

Del vostro Erebo sull'ara,
Colla face dello sdegno
Io vi sfido, o spirti rei!

¿Por qué me gusta la música antigua?

Amarylli, mia bella (Giulio Caccini, 1546-1614)

Amarilli, mia bella
D'esser tu l'amor mio?
Credilo pur, e se timor t'assale,
Prendi questo mio strale,
Aprimi il petto e vedrai scritto in core:
Amarilli, Amarilli, Amarilli è il mio amore.

Credilo pur, e se timor t'assale,
Dubitar non ti vale,
Aprimi il petto e vedrai scritto in core:

"If you're going to San Francisco,
be sure to wear some flowers in your hair...
If you're going to San Francisco,
Summertime will be a love-in there"

Original:

C'est comme une gaiet
Comme un sourire
Quelque chose dans la voix
Qui parat nous dire "viens"
Qui nous fait sentir trangement bien
C'est comme toute l'histoire
Du peuple noir
Qui se balance
Entre l'amour et l'dsespoir
Quelque chose qui danse en toi
Si tu l'as, tu l'as
Quand tu l'as tu l'as

(France Gall - Ella, Elle L'a.

The Year of the Cat (Al Stewart)

On a morning from a Bogart movie
In a country where they turn back time
You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre
Contemplating a crime
She comes out of the sun in a silk dress running
Like a watercolour in the rain
Don't bother asking for explanations
She'll just tell you that she came
In the year of the cat.

She doesn't give you time for questions
As she locks up your arm in hers
And you follow 'till your sense of which direction
Completely disappears
By the blue tiled walls near the market stalls
There's a hidden door she leads you to
These days, she says, I feel my life
Just like a river running through
The year of the cat

She looks at you so cooly
And her eyes shine like the moon in the sea
She comes in incense and patchouli
So you take her, to find what's waiting inside
The year of the cat.

Well morning comes and you're still with her
And the bus and the tourists are gone
And you've thrown away the choice and lost your ticket
So you have to stay on
But the drum-beat strains of the night remain
In the rhythm of the new-born day
You know sometime you're bound to leave her
BUt for now you're going to stay
In the year of the cat.

Amy Winehouse - Rehab lyrics

A change is gonna comme (Sam Cooke, 1964)

You made me cry when you said goodbye
Ain't that a shame?
My tears fell like rain
Ain't that a shame?
You're the one to blame

You broke my heart when you said we'll part
Ain't that a shame?
My tears fell like rain
Ain't that a shame?
You're the one to blame

Farewell, goodbye, although I'll cry
Ain't that a shame?
My tears fell like rain
Ain't that a shame?
You're the one to blame

You made me cry when you said goodbye
Ain't that a shame?
My tears fell like rain
Ain't that a shame?
You're the one to blame

Farewell, goodbye, although I'll cry
Ain't that a shame?
My tears fell like rain
Ain't that a shame?
You're the one to blame

You aint nothin but a hound dog
Cryin all the time.
You aint nothin but a hound dog
Cryin all the time.
Well, you aint never caught a rabbit
And you aint no friend of mine.

When they said you was high classed,
Well, that was just a lie.
When they said you was high classed,
Well, that was just a lie.
You aint never caught a rabbit
And you aint no friend of mine.

No, no conocí
el azote de aquella invasión.
Vivo feliz
en la tierra que aquél levantó.
Gracias le doy
al gran hombre que supo alejar
esa invasión
que la senda venía a cambiar.
Otros vendrán
que el camino no habrán de labrar.
Él lo labró,
a los otros les toca sembrar.
Otros vendrán,
el camino más limpio hallarán.
Deben seguir
por la senda que aquél nos marcó.
No han de ocultar,
hacia el hombre que trajo esta paz,
su admiración.
Y por favor pido siga esta paz

Travelin' Soldier (Dixie Chicks)

Two days past eighteen
He was waiting for the bus in his army green
Sat down in a booth in a cafe there
Gave his order to a girl with a bow in her hair
He's a little shy so she gives him a smile
And he said would you mind sittin' down for a while
And talking to me,
I'm feeling a little low
She said I'm off in an hour and I know where we can go

So they went down and they sat on the pier
He said I bet you got a boyfriend but I don't care
I got no one to send a letter to
Would you mind if I sent one back here to you

Chorus: I cried
Never gonna hold the hand of another guy
Too young for him they told her
Waitin' for the love of a travelin' soldier
Our love will never end
Waitin' for the soldier to come back again
Never more to be alone when the letter said
A soldier's coming home

So the letters came from an army camp
In California then Vietnam
And he told her of his heart
It might be love and all of the things he was so scared of
He said when it's getting kinda rough over here
I think of that day sittin' down at the pier
And I close my eyes and see your pretty smile
Don't worry but I won't be able to write for awhile

[Chorus]

One Friday night at a football game
The Lord's Prayer said and the Anthem sang
A man said folks would you bow your heads
For a list of local Vietnam dead
Crying all alone under the stands
Was a piccolo player in the marching band
And one name read and nobody really cared
But a pretty little girl with a bow in her hair

[Chorus]

Vint anys i encara tinc força, (Veinte años y todavía tengo fuerzas,)
I no tinc l'ànima morta, (Y no tengo el alma muerta,)
I em sento bullir la sang. (Y me siento hervir la sangre.)

I encara em sento capaç (Y todavía me siento capaz)
De cantar si un altre canta. (De cantar si otro canta.)
Avui que encara tinc veu (Hoy que todavía tengo voz)
I encara puc creure en déus...

Vint anys i encara tinc força, (Veinte años y todavía tengo fuerzas)

I no tinc l'ànima morta, (Y no tengo el alma muerta,)
I em sento bullir la sang.
I sense cap amor van passant pel món.
I que dempeus moren. (Y que mueren de pie.)
Vull i vull i vull cantar (Quiero y quiero y quiero cantar)
Avui que encara tinc veu. (Hoy que todavía tengo voz.)
Qui sap si podré demá. (Quien sabe si podré mañana.)

Fa vint anys que tinc vint anys. (Hace veinte años que tengo veinte años.)
Vint anys i encara tinc força, (Veinte años y todavía tengo fuerzas)

I no tinc l'ànima morta, (Y no tengo el alma muerta,)
I em sento bullir la sang...

Always Look On The Bright Side of Life

Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad,
Other things just make you swear and curse,
When you're chewing life's gristle,
Don't grumble,
Give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best.
And...

Always look on the bright side of life.
[whistle]
Always look on the light side of life.
[whistle]

If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten,
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps.
Just purse your lips and whistle.
That's the thing.
And...

Always look on the bright side of life.
[whistle]
Always look on the right side of life,
[whistle]

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin.
Give the audience a grin.
Enjoy it. It's your last chance, anyhow.
So,...

Always look on the bright side of death,
[whistle]
Just before you draw your terminal breath.
[whistle]

Life's a piece of shit,
When you look at it.
Life's a laugh and death's a joke it's true.
You'll see it's all a show.
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.
And...

Always look on the bright side of life.
Always look on the right side of life.
[whistle]

Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]
Always look on the bright side of life!
[whistle]

Repeat to fade...
